Who is responsible for this website

The legal entity named at the top of this page is responsible for the inousia.com website and for the information you send us when you get in touch.

This notice explains how we handle data of website visitors and business contacts. Patient data that may be processed when a healthcare institution uses the Inousia platform is described separately, under Patient data and healthcare institutions.

What data we may process

When you visit the website

  • Technical visit data, such as IP address, browser and device type, time of access and the page requested. This is logged automatically by the service that hosts the website, so the site can be delivered and protected.
  • Fonts are served from the website itself, not from third-party servers.
  • Language choice. The website remembers whether you chose English or Serbian, stored only in your browser. It is not sent to us.

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, visitor tracking tools, contact forms or newsletter sign-ups.

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we process the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, the name of your institution or company, and the content of your message.

Please do not send us health information about yourself or patients by email.

Why we process data

  • Running and securing the website: to display the site correctly and protect it from misuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website.
  • Enquiries about possible cooperation: to reply to your enquiry and arrange a walkthrough or a conversation. Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable.
  • Other business communication with healthcare institutions and partners. Basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and developing business relationships.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Patient data and healthcare institutions

The public inousia.com website does not collect patients' health data.

The Inousia platform is used by healthcare institutions. When an institution uses Inousia to process its patients' data, such as answers to a pre-visit questionnaire, the roles and obligations regarding that processing are governed by the relationship between the healthcare institution and Inousia and by an appropriate data processing agreement.

If you are a patient with a question about your data, please contact the healthcare institution where your appointment is booked first. If you contact us directly, we will refer you to the institution or cooperate with it in line with the agreement.

Recipients and technical service providers

Data of visitors and business contacts may only be processed by the technical service providers we use for this website and for communication:

  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting and technical visit data;
  • Google: the email service (Gmail) we use to send and receive messages. Google processes these messages under its own terms of service and privacy policy.

Both companies are based in the United States, so data may also be processed outside Serbia, under the terms and safeguards these providers apply.

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law expressly requires it.

Data retention

We keep data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

  • Technical visit data is kept by the hosting provider, according to its own settings and retention periods.
  • Business correspondence is kept while the communication or business relationship lasts, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal obligations or to protect against possible legal claims.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS).

No transmission over the internet, including email, is entirely risk-free. Please do not send sensitive data by email.

Your rights

Under data protection law, where applicable, you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • data portability, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can send a request to the address under Contact. We will respond within the time limit set by law.
